Purple Robot is a pioneering, cruelty-free vegan restaurant which is offering a distinctive dining experience in Hull. The vision of former Beautiful South guitarist, Dave Rotheray, it is a quirky space with industrial décor inspired by a post-apocalyptic movie set.
The menu has been inspired by classic dishes from around the world, but they’ve been given a modern twist. From Crispy beer-battered fish and twice-cooked chips to Crispy pan-fried duque parcels, their simple yet exciting menu is filled with fresh, seasonal ingredients which are as ethically sourced as possible.
Purple Robot is more than just a restaurant though. Described as a Vegan Craft Beer Kitchen, their drinks menu is also completely vegan. With a good choice of craft beers, gins, wines, whiskies, rums, vodkas, tequila and soft drinks, Purple Robot is about the whole experience.
So, if you’re looking for something you don’t find in your national chains, make sure to stop by Purple Robot on Humber Street.
