Amazing Shows Featuring Dazzling Dancers, A Stand Up Superstar, And Motown Magic – It’s All A Case of Classic déjà Vu
The legendary house music club night déjà vu is making a triumphant return to the city, with a symphonic twist.
Déjà Vu Classical will provide a cacophony of sound at Hull City Hall on 12 June when a 40 – piece orchestra will deliver stirring renditions of classic electronic music spanning almost three decades.
The classical theme moves from house music legends to dance superstars, who will be tripping the light fantastic, when Here Come The Boys steps onto the stage at Hull New Theatre in a brand new dazzling production.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaž Škorjanec is joined by former Strictly favourite Pasha Kovalev, international ballet sensation and West End star Sam Salter and Australian dance sensation, NBC World Of Dance champion and Broadway star Michael Dameski on 20 June, 2020.
This dancing extravaganza will feature ballroom, Latin, commercial, contemporary, ballet, acro and tap. Join Aljaz, Pasha, Sam and Michael, alongside a spectacular cast of dancers, gymnasts and tap dancers, in what promises to be one of the hottest tickets this summer.
The entertainment moves from Cha-Cha to chuckles when comedian Jason Manford brings his new show to Hull City Hall on 6 May, 2021.
Like Me is the funny man’s latest offering and sees him return to live comedy after a string of appearances on numerous TV programmes including Scarborough on BBC One, Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats and The Royal Variety Performance.
Jason said: “After the fun we had on my last tour Muddle Class, I’m excited to get back on the road with my new stand up show, Like Me. In these trying times it’s always important to be able to get away for a couple of hours and exercise the old chuckle muscle. So I’m coming to Hull City Hall so we can have a good laugh together. See you then.”
Before Mr Manford’s merriment The Greatest Hits of Motown – How Sweet It Is will have Hull City Hall Dancing On The Ceiling with the slickest choreography and an amazing band.
The show on 24 October, 2020, features songs from legendary artistes such as Lionel Richie, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson Five, The Isley Brothers and Edwin Starr.
Tickets for all shows are on sale at 10am on Friday, 28 February. Book at the Hull City Hall box office, call 01482 300 306 or visit www.hulltheatres.co.uk to book online.
