How’s your 2017 shaping up to be?

In 2017 I will feel… Here are a few of the things our team are hoping for and looking forward to in 2017.

The Hull 2017 roadshows are already going down a storm and the response has been fantastic so far. You’ve been doing a great job of hanging all your many aspirations from our official 2017 aspiration tree and it’s all looking rather lovely.

We’ve been having so much fun we decided to create our very own mini version here at Hull 2017 HQ. We asked our team what they hope to achieve in 2017, what they plan to do, and what they expect to feel. We had responses from loads of people in the office – here’s what a few of them said.

Aspiration_Tree_3

“In 2017 I plan to make mental photos of the extraordinary creations and experiences.”
– Helen

Aspiration_Tree_4

“In 2017 I hope to achieve a great contribution to a national event and gain valuable skills and experience for the future!”
– Holly

Aspiration_Tree_2

“In 2017 I will feel… exhilarated!”
– Chris

To submit your own aspiration, pop down to one of our roadshows to hang your wishes from the official 2017 tree. All of the aspirations we collect will then be sent to the Hull History Centre to be archived for years to come as a record of what the people of Hull were hoping and planning ahead of their year as UK City of Culture.

Come along and become a part of the story. Find out where the roadshows and drop-ins are heading next.
