Challenge Hull Week #10 – ‘Found Objects’

MONDAY 6 MARCH

We want you to think about the beauty of everyday objects and the unpredictable, creative potential that they have to become something else. This week Pause Project are asking you to think about what you can create from everyday objects close to you.

‘FOUND OBJECTS’

DO:

Look around you, go for a walk, see what you can see and collect objects as you go. Use your magic on these objects and inject them with new life, there are no boundaries! Feel free to use glitter, glue, fabric, anything you can get your hands on.

IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME:

Get together with friends and ask them to each bring an object that they have found and a material to use. Maybe you could start up your own craft morning?

THINK:

What objects caught your eye? Which materials did you use to decorate your object? What will you do with your new object?

SHARE:

Take a photograph of your found object before and after you’ve made your new creation, and share it on social media using #ChallengeHull within the next seven days. You can then tag Hull 2017 (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and Pause Project (on Twitter) as we’d love to see your creations.

Check our social media channels or our website here next Monday for your next challenge. And don’t forget to share all the challenges (including your own) with others to encourage them to get stuck in too.

Good luck!
