Challenge Hull Week #13 – ‘Be a Local Tourist’

MONDAY 27 MARCH

Are you proud of where you live? If an alien suddenly knocked at your door, what local sights or journeys would you recommend? This week Visit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) are inviting you to become a local tourist and put yourself in the shoes of a city wanderer with their challenge.

‘BE A LOCAL TOURIST’

DO:

Think about somewhere in your city, town or village that you would be proud to tell a visitor or tourist about. Share this place with us on social media using #ChallengeHull.

IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME:

Think about how you could document your memories – could you write about them, draw them or photograph them?

THINK:

What did you notice when you began to think about the place you live? Did you remember anything that surprised you?

SHARE:

Share your favourite place with us using #ChallengeHull in a tweet, in a photo, in a form of art, however you see possible! Share your challenge on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you can then tag Hull 2017 (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and VHEY (on Twitter), as we’d love to see how proud you are of where you live!

Check our social media channels or our website here next Monday for your next challenge. And don’t forget to share all the challenges (including your own) with others to encourage them to get stuck in too.

Good luck!
