Challenge Hull Week #35 – ‘Take the Dis (Out of Disability)’

This week the Choices and Rights Disability Coalition is inviting you to think about disability and to challenge your perceptions of what disability means to you.

‘TAKE THE DIS (OUT OF DISABILITY)’

DO:

Take a photo, make a film, write a poem (or something else completely!) that shows us your ideas or images of disability. Your challenge can include images of disabled people including family members, workers, sports stars, actors and comedians.

IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME:

If you’re stuck for inspiration try watching the amazing video below. Compare your similarities, differences and abilities.

THINK:

Did this challenge make you think differently about your perceptions of disability?

SHARE:

Share a photo on social media using #ChallengeHull to demonstrate you exploring your creativity. Don’t forget to tag us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram too.

Check our social media channels or our website next Monday for your next challenge. And don’t forget to share all the challenges (including your own) with others to encourage them to get stuck in, too.

Good luck!
