Challenge Hull Week #43 – ‘Sitting Still’

This week’s challenge has been set by a group of wheelchair users who would like you to experience the world from their perspective. For their challenge, the Disabilities Trust would like to see you:

‘SITTING STILL’

DO:

Experience sitting still in a chair for 5-10 minutes. Don’t move from the chair – how does it feel? Write down or sketch your thoughts following the task. Try not to overthink it, just be honest.

IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME:

Take your chair to a different environment and repeat.

THINK:

How did it feel to be restricted to one place?

SHARE:

Share your thoughts on this challenge on social media using #ChallengeHull. You can tag us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram, and Disabilities Trust on Twitter.

Check our social media channels or our website next Monday for your next challenge. And don’t forget to share all the challenges (including your own) with others to encourage them to get stuck in, too.

Good luck!
