Hull Fair – Getting there with EYMS

Roll up!  Roll up!  East Yorkshire Buses are running more special buses than ever to Hull Fair!

This year, there will be special Hull Fair services from both East and West Hull, with buses calling at Longhill, Holderness Road, Cottingham, Endike Lane, the University and more.

Popular East Hull Service 56F, from ASDA Bilton, Longhill and Holderness Road, returns this year, with the first bus starting at 3.48pm to allow families with young children to get to the event before the crowds.  It starts even earlier on Saturdays, at 1.13pm, to give people the chance to spend Saturday afternoon at the fair.

West Hull is served by Service 55F, from Hull University and The Avenues, and Service 65F, which goes from Cottingham, and also gives Endike Lane and Cranbrook Avenue a special service to the Fair.  These services run from early evening, with last buses home leaving the fair just after 11pm.

The special Hull Fair services run every Hull Fair evening from Friday 5 October until Saturday 13 October (except Sunday, when the fair is closed).

Special cheap fares of £2 single and £3 return mean you’ll have plenty of money left over for toffee apples, and there’s no need to worry about finding somewhere safe to park your car either.  Children travel for only £1 each way, and those under 5 ride for free.  And with our special Team Ticket, four people travel together there and back for only £7.  All tickets are available from the bus driver, with no need to pre-book.

Standard EYMS buses from Hessle, Willerby, Anlaby and Hull City Centre also stop outside the Fair, making it easy to visit from across the city, with extra Service 66 buses from Hessle running in the evening.  Times are available at www.eyms.co.uk or via BusLine on 01482 59 29 29.  You can pick up a special Hull Fair Buses leaflet from the EYMS Travel Centre in Hull Paragon Interchange.
