Family Fun is just around the corner at Hull Truck Theatre this Half-Term
Enjoy Theatre as a family this February Half-Term at Hull Truck Theatre! Whilst the weather is still a little bit fresh, why not bring the family to warm up with some wonderfully imaginative children’s theatre?
On each weekend of this Half-Term we will be visited by acclaimed family theatre, beginning with WOLF! (inspired by Aesop’s fable, The Boy who Cried Wolf) and then The Twisted Tale of Hansel & Gretel presented by Open Theatre. Both of these shows are also included in our Family and Friends Offer; where you book four tickets in a single transaction and save £1 per ticket*.

A flustered storyteller is joined by a mischievous mockingbird as he follows Hansel and Gretel deep into the forest. All is not what it seems, as the characters start to tell their own version of this peculiar adventure. Come along and meet the wicked witch and her really rather eccentric chef in this truly imaginative version of Hansel and Gretel. Live music, hilarious performance and a mesmerising design ensures that this play will entertain and amuse the entire family.
All performances of this show are “Relaxed”, which means they are specifically designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment and include additional lighting, gentler sound effects and a friendly attitude to noise and movement in the auditorium†.

Running Time: 60 mins
*Group of four must include a min of one standard and one child ticket.
