Place des Anges: A Guide to Transport & Parking


A special late night bus service will be run by both Stagecoach and East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) until 1am following the event as well as a late night Park and Ride service

EYMS late night services:
Hull City Centre back to Spring Bank, Willerby Road, Holderness Road, Longhill, Hessle, Anlaby Road, Priory Road, Setting Dyke, Boothferry Road, The Avenues, the University, Cottingham, Beverley Road, Dunswell, Woodmansey and Beverley, amongst other places.

For the Park & Ride service from Priory Park, buses will run every 15 minutes to and from the city*.  The last bus from Priory Park to the City Centre will be at 10pm. The last bus from Alfred Gelder Street to Priory Park will be at 11.45pm.

*Due to a road closure on Wilberforce Drive, the bus stop at this location will not be serviced. All normal stops will be served apart from Wilberforce Drive. The diversion route is Alfred Gelder Street, Drypool Bridge, Great Union Street, North Bridge, George Street, and then normal route via Bond Street, Albion Street, Brook Street and Ferensway.

The nearest car parks to the event are:

  • Princes Quay Shopping Centre
  • George Street (corner of Wilberforce Drive)
  • King William House (Market Place)
  • Osborne Street

Parking at Princess Quay Shopping Centre between 6pm and 6am is priced at £1. All other parking is free from 6pm, except George Street which is from 7pm. Parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The George Street multi-storey car park (at the corner of Wilberforce Drive and George Street) will stay open overnight on 2 July to enable people to park there for the Place des Anges show.
