We’ve missed you
We are delighted to be able to welcome you back to the high street in Hull. It has been a tough year for all of our businesses and they are so excited to be able to welcome you back.
From the 12th April, hundreds of local, independent businesses will open their doors after what has been a difficult 12 months. Alongside Hull’s business owners and in line with the current government guidelines, we’re working hard behind the scenes to make sure Hull City Centre and your local shopping areas are safe and welcoming for your return.
What have you missed the most? Collecting your favourite morning coffee? Browsing shops for a little payday treat? Enjoying the chatter or – more likely – a well needed haircut.
Our businesses need and value your support, so join us on the high street to rediscover the joy of local.
There is nothing better than meeting with friends and family and as the lockdown eases we want to make sure you can do this is a safe way. To help we have compiled a list of those bars and restaurants that are offering bookable tables for outside drinking and dining, you can find them here.
As Covid-19 measures have reduced capacity on public transport now is a great time to consideur alternative ways of getting in to and around the city. Cycling is one of the quickest and easiest ways of getting to your destination. You can leave you bike at secure locations at the interchange or the new Revolution cycle hub within Trinity Market. More information can be found on Revolution here.
Not ready to meet up with friends just yet? There are some great local businesses offering takeaway and click and collect offers at the moment. Try some of our local tips here.
We are still in a situation of lockdown with only some restrictions being eased. The government guidance on social distancing remains in place. Please adhere to all of the guidelines and remember the Hands, Face, Space mantra. For the latest guidance on using your highstreets safely click here
