Tourist information centres
Wondering what to do once you arrive in Hull? Not sure where the bus stops are, or need a printed map of the city? Head to Hull Paragon Interchange (AKA the train and bus station) and look for the Visitor Welcome Centre, where there should be lots of friendly volunteers on hand to point you in the right direction. Hospitals
Hull’s main hospital is the Hull Royal Infirmary (or HRI) on Anlaby Road in the city centre. HRI is home to the city’s accident and emergency department, as well as the Women and Children’s Hospital and the Eye Hospital. Castle Hill Hospital is to the north of the city on Castle Road in Cottingham, although this does not have an accident and emergency department. The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust website has more information about these hospitals and other medical services in the region.

Pharmacies
If you need to pick up some medicine during your stay in Hull there are pharmacies throughout the city. Find out where these are and when they open on the NHS website.

Emergency services
Need to contact the emergency services in Hull? You can contact the police, ambulance service, fire brigade, coastguard and any other emergency service by dialing 999. You can also reach the police for non-emergencies my dialling 101. Humberside Police have their own Twitter account too, @Humberbeat, and the Fire & Rescue Service tweet between putting out fires on @Humbersidefire.
