Museum of Club Culture

42 High Street, Bond 31, Suite 5, Hull, HU1 1PS

1 hour

First opened by artists Mark Wigan and Kerry Baldry in 2010, the world’s first and only Museum of Club Culture celebrates the varied night-club cultures of past and present.

Both influential in their own rights, Mark is revered as an influential illustrator and pioneer of urban art in the 1980s, and Kerry has been widely exhibited, working primarily with 16mm film and video. Together they have created a space that looks at the cultural significance of nightclubs and streetstyles from around the world.

As well as its permanent collection of memorabilia and imagery, the space often hosts exhibitions exploring dress styles, artefacts, music, memorabilia, illustrations, film, video and photography.

Whether you’re looking to relive memories or discover a culture you want to know more about, then the Museum of Club Culture is an experience you can only find in Hull.
