Described as the ‘First Lady of Noir writing” by David Peace, Cathi Unsworth will be in conversation with Nick Quantrill for the northern launch of her latest book, “That Old Black Magic”.
Longlisted for the prestigious Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year award, she’s acclaimed by critics and loved by reader, with her latest novel offering more magic, mayhem and murder in wartime.
Writing about the darker side of life, Cathi will talk of how Hull inspired her earlier work, “The Singer” and explore her links to the city.
