Hull’s stunning Christmas lights will be switched on by the Lord Mayor and special guests.
Queen Victoria Square will come alive with light and sound installations , with entertainment getting under way at 5pm, with performer Andy Train taking the reins as host on Hull City Hall balcony at 5.25pm to introduce a host of live performances programmed by Back to Ours.
Talent from the city will include singers Mia Codd, Casey Adams, Jessica Mae Bennett and Kristian Eastwood, plus comedian Jack Gleadhow and a special performance by Dolly Parton tribute Beebi Del.
The Lord Mayor of Hull, Councillor Steve Wilson, has invited guests Paralympian Sophie Carter and inspirational Harrison Torr to join him in switching on the lights at 6.45pm.
