Summary

Hull Ladies Choir and Hull Male Voice Choir present a 2017 gala concert in the Guildhall Banqueting Hall. Having carried the name of Hull for a joint total of 185, the two choirs are deep-rooted within the city, representing it nationally in impressive venues such as the Royal Albert Hall on several occasions.

Based on the Hull 2017 season, Roots and Routes, the programme will include songs and poetry appertaining to Hull’s roots, local historical events, achievements, occupations, geographical position and people from or associated with the city.

A new medley of songs incorporating local pieces and local people has been commissioned and will be sung jointly by both choirs during the event.

Interested guests will also have the chance to find out more about singing with either one of these historical choirs themselves.

Tickets can be purchased from Gough & Davies.
