Artists Brian Griffiths and Sarah Jones will talk about, around and through their current Artlink Hull exhibition So he pulled the right levers and you did the asking.

Brian Griffiths thinks with things; for him, self and stuff is always mixed up. He has made exhibitions with Bill Murray, wood, invisible entities and his mum. His work values a humbleness and charm that often positions material facts with competing fictions.

Sarah Jones enjoys listening to things, chancing on noises produced when objects are given a voice. Her work draws on legacies of minimalism and literal theatricality, embracing and ramping this up as a part of picture making.

So he pulled the right levers and you did the asking is a Show by Brian Griffiths. He studied Fine Art at Humberside University from 1989-92. Brian has invited a number of friends, family and colleagues, many from his time in Hull, to make self puppets.
