Bellow Theatre bring their hit Edinburgh show, Bare Skin On Briny Waters, home to Hull.

Two young women stand on a cliff edge steadily being blown on an unexpected course.

Underscored with live folk music this is a story about survival and escape. “Gently poetic salt-tinged story-telling” (Lyn Gardner, The Guardian) from Bellow Theatre, an award winning new-writing company rooted in brave and stirring storytelling. Supported artists of Hull Truck Theatre and Emerging company of New Diorama Theatre.

**** ‘The dramatic equivalent of a Laura Marling song: sad, sensitive, soulful and stirring. A howl of rage, whispered into the wind from a clifftop’ – The Stage

Bare Skin On Briny Waters was part of the Hull Takeover at Edinburgh Fringe this year with the support of Hull City Of Culture 2017. It garnered a heap of four star reviews, and two award commendations from NSDF for writing and acting.
