The Journey to Creating Strong Communities

In 2015, North East Lincolnshire Council created an innovative approach to social care using their ‘Creating Strong Communities’ model.

This half day conference, in partnership with the University of Hull and North East Lincolnshire Council, celebrates some of the achievements of the innovation which won the 2018 LGC award for Children and Services.

It highlights social work student experiences of Restorative Practice and Signs of Safety training delivered to social work students at the University of Hull, and their experiences of using these approaches in practice.

This event will take place at Canham Turner, University of Hull.
