Summary

Hull Comic Con Spring celebrates the craft and creativeness of Sci Fi and Fantasy comics, books and art, with special guests Andrew Cartmel (Doctor Who Script Editor) and Jessica Martin (Doctor Who Actor and Comic Book Writer).

Talks at the event include: Comic Book Scripting 101 with Adam Cheal, Tolkien in the East Riding with Phil Mathison and Screen Writing with Russell Payne.

Q&A’s include: Artists and writers from the worlds of graphic novels, literature, Marvel and Doctor Who.

Meet The Authors including: Andrew Cartmel, Jessica Martin, Tim Quinn, Dicky Howett, Phil Mathison, Russel Payne, Rachael Smith, Russ Leach and Adam Cheal.

Activities include: How to create a Star Wars stop motion animation, where the animation becomes part of the longest Star Wars dance film and super hero comic strip creation.

In addition, there will be merchandise and memorabilia stalls for everybody to enjoy.
