In this lecture, Kenneth Austin, whose monograph on The Reformation and the Jews will shortly be published by Yale University Press, will guide us through an essential period of history.

The BJL contains a number of early printed books which illustrate Christian-Jewish relations, including a pamphlet by Luther from 1523 and numerous works of Hebrew scholarship.
