Bishop Burton College is throwing open its doors to visitors on the 26th March, Mother’s Day, to show off its first lambs of the season.

Lambing Sunday, the College’s annual springtime spectacle, gives the public the opportunity to pet newborn lambs, help with feeding and see the birth of new lambs up close. In addition to the exciting lambing shed, the College will also be hosting a number of other activities across its vast campus.

From show jumping and horse petting, to farm machinery displays, pig unit tours and animal petting in our animal management unit, there’s something to entertain all the family. Get up close with our famous meerkats, find out about our family of lemurs and hop along to our wallaby enclosure for a petting experience and animal talks. And for the more adventurous guests, there’ll be the chance to hug a bug and snuggle a snake.

Please note, pregnant women are advised not to attend this event. No dogs except display and guide dogs.
