Join three trainee librarians battling with books, boilers and bad parking as they uncover an array of obscure local stories! Unbelievable, unimaginable and untold, East Riding’s remarkable history is alive and well and in a library near you. Tell the world we are HERE and NOW!

John Godber challenges a trio of emerging playwrights to re-imagine local stories inspired by our own East Riding history. The result will be four short performance pieces – three of which are written by talented new writers from The Writing Squad: Georgia Affonso; Ruby Lawrence; Lydia Marchant ; and one by John Godber himself. The four interwoven pieces will tour the region’s libraries, bringing these little-known tales to life.
