Summary

October 2019. Hull. The week of the infamous Hull Fair.

‘She always liked to make an entrance. Why stop beyond the grave?’

15 years ago, Hannah’s mother Michaela Midnight, charismatic singer on the local club scene, disappeared. The only trace – her abandoned car and iconic stilettos found deserted on the Humber Estuary.

What happened that night?
What’s going on with Uncle Stan in the old launderette?
And who is the girl from the takeaway?

Sometimes you have to get lost to work out a new exit…

An original Hull Truck Theatre production following on from the critically acclaimed The Ballad of Paragon Station, Hester Ullyart returns to the stage with her latest gritty solo piece directed by Mark Babych and featuring a haunting original soundtrack from Joe Roper.

Reality Bites.
Dream big.
Things are not always what they seem…

Running time: 60 mins
