This is an exhibition exploring weight, space, geometrical form and the forces of gravity. Our planet and everything in nature around us is suspended in the atmosphere or other substances. Nothing exists in isolation, our world is symbiotic. The butterfly effect, demonstrates how the tiniest movement or sound in one place ripples around our world like a stone thrown in a pond.

Our 21st century technological bubble has desensitised us, I want to give you a little time out to engage your senses, space to tune in to your natural inner being, a moment to take a deep breath before you step out into the pressures of city life. When you do I hope that you may have a different perspective.

As the dark matter expands, we face the slow but inevitable annihilation of humankind and all other species. The destruction of the natural world and it’s resources are caused by deforestation and pollution, hence global warming, melting polar ice caps, drought and floods. Tread lightly my friends, on our beautiful fragile earth, as every deed, every thought has consequences in our evolution.

Special appearance of the elusive Amy Johnson Mystery Moth. Created by Jo Cruickshanks and Saffron Waghorn.

The “Ecomoth”, focuses on the concept of home grown vs imported, embracing the use of recycled materials and alternative technologies.
