A spectacular day of singing workshops and group performances, for all singers with choirs or as individuals.

A range of singing workshops with some of the UK’s top vocal workshops leaders including:

Jason Singh (beat boxing)
Dave Camlin (Accafellas – for male voices)
Sharon Durant (Joyful Noise – gospel workshop)
Bex Mather (Flights, Blessings and Songs of Togetherness)
Katherine Zeserson (singing Peace and Freedom)
Dr Paul Whittaker OBE (The Bigger SIGN)
Ali Bullivent (Voice Discover)
Mouthful – a song making workshop plus performance

The day starts with a big sing where all participant share a specially commissioned song ‘Sing to the Hills’, by award winning choral composer and choir leader Helen Yeomans. It builds towards a unique outdoor performance of specially commissioned ‘Song Wave’ by Michael Betteridge in Queen Victoria Square.

Please note that workshops with Paul Whitttaker are accessible for the deaf, and a BSL interpreter will also be interpreting the massed part of the events.

Part of Hull City Council’s Singing City initiative bringing people’s voices together to sing and share.
