As part of Hull 2017’s Freedom season, Priory Primary School will host a day-long festival for the local community, led by the school’s own City of Culture Junior Committee of pupils.
A group of local children are going to play steel pans from Hull Music Hub.
Judy’s Attic will be running craft activities with the children and South Cave Falconry will bring their birds of prey.
The police, ambulance and fire service will be attending.
And funfair rides – including teacups and a helter-skelter – face painting, festival glitter, ice-cream, candy floss, a sweet stall, a bar and food from Hull Pie and I Love Hogroast will all add to the festival vibe.
With performances from several artistic and community groups and each child at the school presenting a piece of art, the day promises to be an unforgettable cultural celebration to be enjoyed by the whole community.
