If you haven’t been to a live opera and want to try a bite-sized version first, or you just fancy experiencing it right under your nose, then this Whistle Stop Opera set in the sumptuous surroundings of Burton Constable Hall is for you.
Don Giovanni is the dark tale of a cruel man who lives life to the fullest regardless of the consequences. A cast of lively young singers and an accordionist reveal the story and the music in a live, interactive experience.
This unique evening of music and heritage also includes an exclusive visit to Burton Constable Hall, where you will discover impressive interiors and fine collections including the remarkable 18th century ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, the newly restored Carved Room and the new Chippendale 300 exhibition: ‘Chippendale and the Yorkshire Craftsmen’.
There will also be an opportunity to chat to the artists in a Q&A session after the performance.
