‘From Horn To Hope: The Oromo Children of Lovedale, South Africa’ By Dr Sandy Shell

Dr Sandy Shell is a Senior Research Associate in the Cory Library at the University of Rhodes, South Africa.

Sandy will give a general introduction to the Oromo children, using one of the girl children who became the grandmother of one of South Africa’s heroes of the liberation struggle (and spent 10 years on Robben Island at the same time as Nelson Mandela) as an example.
