As part of the National Festival of Archaeology 2021 we will be celebrating Whitefriargate our local High Street Heritage Action Zone with a special FREE tour by local guide Paul Schofield.

The tour starts at 11am from Queen statue, Queen Victoria Square and will last approximately 1 hour.

The Whitefriargate High Street Heritage Action Zone is funded by Historic England and Hull City Council, the aim is to uncover the rich history of Hull’s Whitefriargate and Old Town.
