Lighten the dark days of February and put a spring in your step with our second programme of music written for the ballet. Feel the fatal passions of Prokofiev’s star-crossed lovers in the suite from Romeo and Juliette; join the gladiators’ struggle for liberation with Spartacus; bask in the sun-soaked Spanish brilliance of de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat; soar with Stravinsky’s Firebird. It may be dark outside, but we’ll be burning bright as we open the doors of the City Hall and invite you in to dance with us.
Pre-concert talk 6.30pm.
