Making Performance: Love’s Labour’s Lost by William Shakespeare

UNIVERSITY OF HULL, Hull, HU6 74X

15 - 16 Mar 2018

Family Friendly

A hilarious interpretation of Shakespeare’s comedy, inspired by the psychedelic revolution of the 1960’s.

Featuring live original music, this hour-long show guarantees laughter, love and good vibes as four naive lords are tempted away from abstinence by the visiting Princess of France. Is everybody in?

‘Making Performance’ is a season of theatre work by final-year undergraduate students in Drama and which runs throughout the month of March. The work offered is as broad as it is distinctive and ranges from classical Greek to Shakespearean comedy; children’s fairy-tale to contemporary new writing.

Students involved in this work engage in a year-long process in which the full range of theatre production skills acquired during their programmes of study are developed and applied.
