It’s Monday morning 9am and the children shuffle back into their classrooms ready for another week of learning and fun at school. But there is only one problem, when asked how their weekends were, the children can’t remember.
Why have they lost the entire weekend?
Why has it happened to all of them?
And what really happened on Saturday and Sunday?
Over the week you will develop your skills as a theatre maker, you will create interesting characters and dialogue, you will learn key skills of acting and you will finish the week by performing your brand new play to an audience of parents, families and friends!
The project takes place Monday 5th August to Friday 9th August 2024 9am – 3.30pm every day at Hull Truck Theatre. This project is for any child aged 7 to 11. (This project is for primary school aged children up to including children who have just finished year 6.)
Cost for the week is £75 per participant. We are committed to the idea that finances shouldn’t be a barrier to participation, please get in touch if you would like to discuss reduced prices or bursary places. Contact engagment@hulltruck.co.uk to discuss.
You can sign up and pay online, by calling our box office on 01482 323 638 or come into the theatre and book in person.
Children will need to be dropped off and collected each day by an adult in our main foyer. Please arrive 10 minutes early on the first day so that we can fill in emergency information and contact forms. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle each day.
If you have any questions please contact our Creative Learning team on engagement@hulltruck.co.uk or call us on 01482 488209.
