At Hymers college, over three days the Hull and District Chess Association will host a free event for all children at schools that are interested in playing the game. You can be of any strength but preferably beginner or intermediate level.
The event begins on the 31st July until the 2nd August and all who attend must complete all three of the days.
The event will begin at 10 am and run until 3 pm, all entrants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time so that a registration can be called.
Professional English Chess Federation trainers will be running the event and each participant will receive a certificate for completing the three days.
There will be refreshments available throughout the day, however, parents are advised to provide a packed lunch for their children.

From 2017, the college will throw opens its doors to become a Back To Ours festival venue for the very first time.
