Goole Diorama Workshop

Take over the Workshop Room for a crafty collaborative workshop and help us build a diorama of everything Goole! Use a range of materials to collage a pop up version of Goole and get creative. No previous experience needed. Suitable for ages 5+ and their families.

Drypoint Etching with Kerry Watson

This technique is the most direct way of creating an original print using a needle on to a metal plate. The marks made create a burr in the metal which gives the print its rich, velvety quality. The workshop is held by Kerry Watson.

Fabulous Fused Glass with Louise Watson

Louise Watson is an experienced glass artist that works with both architectural and kiln-formed glass. Learn the techniques of fused glass making, an ideal way to experiment and create your own small project pieces.
You will learn a variety of fusing methods to create pieces such as pendants, decorations and small tiles.

Suitable for beginners and those with some fused glass experience.

Mokuhanga Printmaking

Mokuhanga is a Japanese woodblock printmaking (water-based) and it is perfect for artists interested in a non-toxic, table-top printmaking technique. In this two – day workshop, you will learn to develop those basic skills to transfer and carve a ‘key line’ and colour separation blocks, in the tradition of Japanese Ukiyo-e printmaking. Participants can bring their own template to work with for the workshop.

This is a pottery workshop, held in Studio11 Gallery with Suzie Reffold. She is an experienced potter who specialises in hand-building techniques, throwing on the wheel, and decorative techniques.
