Please note – the Ferens will be closed to the public between Tuesday 5 – Monday 11 September 2017, to ensure the gallery is ready to host the Turner Prize. On Tuesday 12 September 2017 the gallery will reopen to the public, displaying highlights from the Ferens permanent collection in Gallery 4 as changes are made behind the scenes to the Turner Prize exhibition spaces. The gallery will be closed for one additional day, Monday 25 September 2017, as final preparations are made to the exhibition. Turner Prize 2017 will then open its doors to the public from Tuesday 26 September 2017 – Sunday 7 January 2018.
