With a wealth of evidence for the lives of women in ancient Egypt, from hardworking housewives to female pharaohs, much of what we know about Egypt’s past was discovered by female archaeologists, some of whom came from Yorkshire.

So Jo will look at women in ancient Egypt as well as their pioneering modern counterparts who created so much of modern Egyptology.

There will also be opportunity for book purchase and signing.
