Cranswick PLC – Visit Hull

Cranswick PLC

Proud to be not only one of the largest employers in the region but one of the largest food producers in Britain, Cranswick is extending its support of Hull’s arts and cultural journey being named a city partner to Hull 2017’s year as UK City of Culture. This follows their announcement to a three-year commitment as headline sponsor of Hull’s Freedom Festival earlier this year.

Cranswick began operating in Hull in the 1970’s, when a group of East Yorkshire farmers came together to produce quality pig feed. Through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth, shrewd investment and good old-fashioned Yorkshire pragmatism, they have built a successful business focused on quality food that customers trust.

Today the company has an 8,000-strong workforce, 4,000 of which are based in its heartland of Hull. Cranswick’s success has been built on remaining true to a simple ethos: authentically made British food, without compromise. Their products span retail shelves and restaurant menus across the country and internationally.
