Hull Clinical Commissioning Group – Visit Hull

Hull Clinical Commissioning Group

NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) commissions health services for people in Hull. From urgent care services, like A&E and GP ‘Out of Hours’, to mental health support and secondary care for children and young people, the CCG vision is to Create a Healthier Hull.

GPs lead the CCG, working closely with a number of public sector organisations, with the aim of reducing the health inequalities of Hull’s residents.

The CCG works to ensure that excellent services are commissioned to meet the needs of the people living in Hull, thus helping communities and individuals to improve their health and reduce the inequalities they face.

The UK City of Culture team has created some very special health-related elements within the wider programme of world class arts and cultural activities which we are delighted to support. Our partnership with Hull 2017 will mean we are able to improve the health, wellbeing and aspirations of people living in our city in a unique way. Through a range of interesting, fun and inspiring activities, we will be able to reach and engage with people in ways we have never done before; from dance sessions to arts and crafts and an ambitious volunteer recruitment scheme. – Emma Latimer, Chief Officer
