It’s Star Time!

Our headline act is genuinely one not to miss

We are so thrilled to bring you the astounding, brilliant and gloriously baffling Spencer Jones. As an actor, comedian, and writer he has performed regularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has been nominated twice for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He was co-creator and co-star of the BAFTA-nominated CBBC comedy BIG BABIES and had a regular role in the sitcom UPSTART CROW. His BBC Comedy Short, THE MIND OF HERBERT CLUNKERDUNK, received rave reviews and a BAFTA nomination for Best Short Form Programme.  He also created and starred in the BBC sitcom MR WINNER.  Spencer has also appeared in:  STILL OPEN ALL HOURS, SKINS, PULLING, COUNTING ARTHUR STRONG, TED LASSO, 8 OUT OF !) CATS DOES COUNTDOWN and LIVE AT THE APOLLO.

BUT! – far more than that – Spencer Jones is a physical comedian of the highest order.  You will never have seen anyone quite like him. To watch him is one of the funniest experiences ever.  Bizarre would be an understatement – and the hilarity is enormous.  You cannot miss this milestone in Beverly’s cultural history – the night Spencer Jones came to town!

SPENCER JONES

‘From the moment he walks on, his funny bones make everyone laugh.’

‘There’s a depth and intelligence to this silly nonsense that makes it gold.’

The Standard

Also coming to Beverley is this year’s Britain’s Got Talent nearly winner

(he came second)

We welcome the amazing, brilliantly funny, magician Jack Rhodes.

“Super clever, super funny. You are amazing.”

Amanda Holden

“As good as it gets…You got everything – and that was jaw-dropping”

Simon Cowell

JACK RHODES

Jack Rhodes is the northern working class every-man and not exactly your typical ‘magician’.

With a background in close-up magic and stand-up comedy, Jack has been creating ‘comedy, magic and nonsense’ videos on YouTube since 2020. Since then, he has amassed over 125 million views across social media and has firmly established his presence as a magician who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Combining self-deprecation and trickery with an off-beat northern approach, Jack’s unique delivery of comedy and world-class sleight of hand dexterity ensures even non-magic fans will enjoy the show.

His distinct performance style crossed with a unique mix of jokes and skill will appeal to all walks of life and is a sure-fire hit.

And of course, let’s not forget our wonderful MC

The extremely funny, ever popular, award-riddled Jack  Gleadow – including last year’s Yorkshire Comedian of the Year and a previous, prestigious Leicester Mercury Best Comedy Act.

“One of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today.”
