A monster’s guide to tolerance and temperance. Jess can feel herself becoming an emotional wildebeest right when her world (and the whole world, thanks) demands cool, collected ultra detached saint-like kindness and understanding. S**t.
She goes digging around in her DNA for answers and finds so many beautiful horrors. Witness her effort to become a brand new, mythical, mystical ‘coper.’ OR NOT. She gets cancelled, she gets touched and she gets a dolphin-based epiphany all in one show. The silliest of comedy for the scariest of days from Edinburgh Best Show Award Nominee.
You’ve seen Jess on BBC’s QI, Live at the Apollo, Celebrity University Challenge and Richard Osman’s House of Games. From Travel Man on C4 and World’s Most Dangerous Roads on Dave. You know her from her two BBC R4 series of Sturdy Girl Club plus podcasts The Guilty Feminist and Hoovering. And, of course, from new mighty smash hit Gladiator’s fan-podcast Contender Ready which Jess co-hosts with Olympic weightlifting superstar, Emily Campbell.
Have you ever been awake in the middle of the night and thought something so smart and astute that you couldn’t wait for the world to wake up so you could tell them?
THIS SHOW IS THAT THOUGHT.
In that it doesn’t make much sense and is a bit weird on reflection.

As a white, middle-class, straight male with an ok career, Jamie fits the current stereotype of a loathsome, over-privileged, toxic b*stard. However, purely because he’s blind , he’s constantly told he’s a role model.
FYI, he isn’t toxic. But surely he should have the choice to be without people continually telling him he’s a hero?
As seen on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, Celebrity MasterChef and QI.
Winner of Grierson Awards Best Presenter 2022.
“Completely Priceless”**** The Telegraph,
“MacDonald’s continued rise through the comedy ranks seems assured” **** The Scotsman
After his 2023/24 sell-out smash tour Gobsmacked, this marvellous Manc is back with his best show yet.
A TV favourite, and now an aspiring doctor’s wife, Josh Jones is now knee deep into his 30’s and nothing thrills him more than a Greggs Sausage Roll and an M&S food shop. Living a more sedate life isn’t without its challenges though – he’s still trying to earn his cat’s respect!
Josh is hitting the road with a show packed full of laughs and he’s keeping it light – nothing super political, nothing controversial and it’s definitely not going to change your life, but you can be sure of a fab night out filled to the brim with jokes about history, cats, his love of wrestling and much more. Please come, he’d really like to buy a new sofa.

Mike Rice: Cruel Little Man
There’s a cruelty to Mike Rice, a wickedness. In this show Mike talks about doing psychedelics with his brother, an entanglement with a Spanish Sausage Dog named Nino, and many other such rotten adventures.
‘A phenomenal wordsmith, and world class raconteur’ ★★★★½ Chortle
Elizabethan theatre is flourishing. But will a brand-new Tudor musical romp, in which Good Queen Bess takes to the stage herself, be the making of this heroine or spell the beginning of her downfall?
The stage is set for regicidal rivalries, devious dramatics, and plotting playwrights. Beset by misunderstandings and a script that…let’s just say…needs some work, this production promises to be largely historical, always hysterical.
As the old saying goes…thy show must go-eth on!
★★★★★ – “So entertaining…laugh-out-loud funny”
★★★★★ – “Riotously fun. Hugely enjoyable”
★★★★★ – “The ultimate British theatrical experience” – Hastings Independent Press
★★★★★ – “Great fun for the whole family…my kids are still talking about it!”

So chill out, wind your neck in and buy a ticket. They’re affordable and there’s an interval to ask each other “Did he just change our lives?”
Relent to him. He. Is. Your. New. God.
You can run, you can hide, but no one gets out alive.
