Hosted by Jon Keen, a visual artist who has been teaching art and running art workshops in Hull for nearly twenty years, Jon works with colour as a main theme in his workshops, but utilises many or most mediums, from paint to pencils, clay to cardboard.
Jon works around the principle of creativity. He encourages and supports learning basic skills and then using them to create fantastic pieces of art.
If you want to have fun, learn something new and be creative come join us for a session. No experience necessary, and all materials are provided, all that’s needed is a willingness to get involved.

Arty Bods: Summer School is an exciting set of art workshops designed for kids aged 5-11 years old.
Each workshop will be led by artist and Lauren Saunders. Together as a group, your child will get to grips with a range of art materials and techniques, and explore creativity in an art gallery setting.
Using the current exhibitions at Humber Street Gallery as inspiration, young artists will be able to develop their artistic skills from week-to-week. Or if you’re not sure, simply drop in to a session or two to see if it’s for them.
Expect lots of fun, colour and mess (and no cleaning up)!
Young artists must be accompanied by an adult, who can relax during sessions with coffee and cake from our café bar.
