Join us for a fun evening of drinks and life drawing upstairs at the Scale and Feather Bar. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking to unwind with some doodling, this event is perfect for you. Grab a drink and let your creativity flow.
This is a self-guided session with a live model, where you will work through a series of short and longer poses. It is a relaxed class with the aim of enjoying the process of being creative, getting together with like-minded people or trying something new.
Soft, alcoholic and hot drinks are available at the bar.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start of the session to allow for setting up and ordering drinks. Light snacks will be provided.

In this workshop, children will join the expert builders from BrickBox to build mini-Roman chariots using LEGO® bricks. Once they have made their chariot, they can have a go at ‘racing’ it alongside others using dice.
At the end of the session, each family can take home a mini pack to make their own brooch from LEGO® bricks inspired by the museum collections. Free healthy drinks and snacks will also be provided for each child that attends.
This will take place between 1pm-3pm.

This is a family art activity designed for children who live in Hull or attend Hull schools that have special educational needs or a disability. It is running as part of the Healthy Holidays Hull programme.

This is a pre-bookable Christmas themed craft session designed for children who have a disability, are neurodivergent or experience anxiety, that would find it difficult to attend the drop-in craft activities at our Victorian Christmas event.
The session takes place early on in the Victorian Christmas event days before the site gets as busy. In the session children can have a go at the craft activities that will be on offer more widely as drop-in activities at the event- making their own Christmas cracker and festive top hat or crown- but in a quieter setting with limited numbers.

Join our artist in residence Maddie Morris for a collaging session using a mixture of queer iconography from magazines, books, and prints relating to Ulysses and the Sirens.
In this creative collaging session queer iconography will meet ancient mythology. Using a mix of resources, we will create queer retellings of Ulysses and the Sirens exploring the intersections of myth, identity and culture.

This is a quiet craft session with limited numbers, designed for people who are disabled, neurodivergent or experience anxiety, who would find it difficult to attend Hull Maritime’s drop-in family craft sessions. In the session, families can have a go at scrap modelling themed around sea monsters.
