After the success of last year’s pioneering holographic In Dreams: Roy Orbison in Concert tour, Base Hologram the leading developer of concerts, theatricals and spectacles that combine holographic cinema and mixed reality with live entertainment, have now announced Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly: The Rock ’N’ Roll Dream Tour, a ground-breaking new tour featuring the award-winning rock and roll legends.

The show will visit Hull’s Bonus Arena on 14 October as part of a full UK arena tour.

It is yet another chapter for the revolutionary Hologram movement. The tour will bring Orbison and Holly together for an enthralling event that will tour throughout the UK before further dates worldwide. It is the first time a Buddy Holly hologram has been created.

After killing a man in self-defence, a young woman is blackmailed by a witness to the event. Alfred Hitchcock’s sinister, suspenseful tale of crime and romance is one of the last British silent films to be made. Through its mixture of location filming and a cast of believable working-class characters, BLACKMAIL is a rich evocation of London life in the late 1920s with scenes in the London Underground, Whitehall, the Lyon’s Tea House at Piccadilly Circus, and a climactic chase in and atop the British Museum.

BURNING tells the story of three individuals and a mysterious incident they experience. Jongsu bumps into an old friend, Haemi, on a part-time delivery job. Haemi asks Jongsu to take care of her cat while she leaves on a trip to Africa. When she returns, Haemi introduces Jongsu to Ben, a man she met in Africa. One day, Ben and Haemi pay Jongsu a visit, and Ben reveals his secret interests to Jongsu.

With a deep sense of humanity and a deft directorial hand, Reinaldo Marcus Green smartly reformulates the traditional construction of “protagonist” to magnify the power of perspective. Green tells the story of how the footage affects the lives of three upstanding men in Bed-Stuy–a young father striving to support his new family, an African American cop dealing with the fallout of his colleague’s mistake, and a star high school athlete who becomes politicized by the incident. Each man is very different, but they equally feel the urgency of the question they must all face: should I take moral action or remain safely on the sidelines? Green provokes viewers to ask themselves the same question.
