On the 25th anniversary of The Shawshank Redemption, the University of Hull (Hoggart Centre for Cultural Studies) in association with Humbercare, is proud to present a talk by bestselling prison memoirist Shaun Attwood and a Q&A with former prisoners. This will be followed by a full cinematic screening of this legendary prison film – still ranked one of the greatest movies ever by film critics.
