The next in our Heritage series. We welcome Richard Clarke
There is considerable evidence that medieval and later church towers/spires along both banks of the Humber and visible to shipping were essential aids to navigation in the treacherous waters of the lower and upper Estuary. The presentation will examine this theme with reference to a selection of some notable examples; Welton church, Patrington church, Clee church, Killingholme church and Winteringham church.
There is no entrance charge for a heritage talks. We work on the donation system.
Our tearoom is open 10-4
