Get ready for the worlds first city wide assault course landing in Hull in October. Are you brave enough to take on 30 ostacles over your choice of 5, 7.5 or 10km courses as well as a 1km route perfect for the kids. You’l face giant slides, swings, tyres and tubes and much more as you navigate across the city. This really unique race will take in many of the major sites in the centre including the Minster, The Deep, Humber Street, Queen’s Gardens, Queen Victoria Square.
Alongside the race there will be a free, family friendly Humbrella Trail. This will be fun trail with a quiz, where people can learn about all different aspects of resilience from health eating to making your home safer.
This major obstacle course has been organised by The Living with Water Partnership (Hull City Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Yorkshire Water and the Environment Agency) to raise awareness of the flood risk in Hull and give practical advice on how people can reduce the impact should a flood occur.
