Minster Heritage Intern, archaeologist and historian Stephen Lonsdale talks about his research into medieval moated sites in Yorkshire and Humber.

These fascinating sites have bemused scholars for over a century, and are connected to many important structures locally, including Wressle and Skipsea Castle, Meaux Abbey, and even the Old Town of Hull itself!

Join him for a lively talk and discussion on Friday 21st October at 12:30pm.

The talk will last approximately 1 hour.

It is available free of charge. Spaces can be reserved by booking on our website, but otherwise no booking is required to come along.
