St Stephen’s will play host to a number of bands this Sunday (18th June) in a showcase of local talent.
Three acts from Hull and the surrounding areas – Breeze, Edge of 13 and Saints Among Us – will be playing on a dedicated stage at the front of the centre from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
Organised in conjunction with Tribfest, the UK’s biggest tribute band festival, all three acts will be performing original tracks, as a taste of what fans can expect from the festival’s Unsigned Stage later in the summer.
The afternoon concert will provide the perfect backdrop for a Fathers’ Day trip to the centre, with visitors also able to enjoy a meal out with their family at restaurants including Nando’s, Prezzo and Zizzi.
Jim Harris, centre manager at St Stephen’s, said: “Customers loved our last live performances at Christmas, so it’s great to welcome more local talent to St Stephen’s this year.
“The acts that we have lined up are really exciting bands coming through the ranks from across our local area, and we’re proud to be able to give them a platform to perform.”
St Stephen’s is open 9am – 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, open later until 7pm on Thursdays and 10.30am – 4.30pm on Sunday.
