Binker Golding – sax
Sarah Tandy – piano
Daniel Casimir – bass
Sam Jones – drums
Binker Golding’s recognised as a key figure of the dynamically developing London jazz scene, best known for playing in the MOBO award-winning duo Binker & Moses.
His new quartet marks a return to quartet playing for the first time in 10 years and it’s focused on a cleaner, 80’s/early 90’s hard-hitting jazz sound.
Their 2019 album Abstractions of Reality Past & Incredible Feathers was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. It features original compositions that reflect everything from straight-ahead jazz to grime and soul music, departing significantly from his work to date.
